2010 XII 14 The opening of 2nd orthphoto exhibition in Romania
Dear Orthphoto users from Romania,
In Romania, the opening of the exhibition “Orthodox Monasticism” will take place in Mioveni, the county of Arges, on the 18th of December 2010. The exhibition will be open to the public in the lobby of the Mioveni City Hall until the 8th of January 2011.
Among the guests of the event there will be various theologians and personalities of the local cultural field and it is possible that we enjoy the presence of the Arges and Muscel Archbishop Calinic.

The exhibition in Romania is financially supported entirely by The Cultural Centre Mioveni and promoted by Filos Publishing.
Local partners: Mioveni City Hall, The Cultural Centre Mioveni, Absolut TV , Radio 21, Fun Time Mioveni Magazine, The Orthodox Cathedral of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, The Parish of The Three Holy Hierarchs and Filos Publishing.

We also mention that the exhibition will be shown in other cities in Romania such as: Pitesti, Bucuresti, Iasi, Craiova, Timisoara, Bacau, Piatra Neamt, Suceava, Fagaras, Sibiu, Alba Iulia, Cluj, Constanta.

Given the importance of this project, being formed of two main elements – photographic art (with all it’s implications) and the orthodoxy, we would be glad to receive your proposals and suggestions. Also, if you would like the exhibition to arrive in your city, do not hesitate to contact us.

We warmly invite you to visit our first thematic exhibition!

In the name of the Orthphoto Romania editorial team,
